find -printf '%H %P' misbehaves with multiple paths When asking find to show the starting-point under which file was found (%H) followed by the file's name with the name of the starting-point under which it was found removed (%P), it computes the "starting-point" for the second directory incorrectly. Example: $ mkdir dir1 $ mkdir directory2 $ touch dir1/foo $ touch directory2/bar $ ./find dir1 directory2 -printf '%H %P\n' dir1 dir1 foo dire dire ctory2/bar The expected output is: $ ./find dir1 directory2 -printf '%H %P\n' dir1 dir1 foo directory2 directory2 bar
